By Davis Ballard

No stranger to Vacationland, Joe spent his teen years growing up in Maine and got his professional start as a board operator at KISS FM in Auburn. Since his early beginnings in radio, Joe has come along way. Notably, DJ Times has named him one of the Top 20 DJ's in America for the past two consecutive years. He has also worked along side the likes of such superstar artists as Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Miley Cyrus scoring multiple number one's on the Billboard charts.

You can learn more about how Joe Bermudez got his start and what he has been up to lately as he chats with Rob Caldwell on the television show, 207 which aired earlier this week on WCSH, the local NBC affiliate for Maine:

Despite all of his fame and success as a radio show host, global DJ, and music producer,
Joe has remained one of the nicest, most down to earth figures in the business. It was no surprise when we learned that he was taking time out of his busy schedule to lend a helping hand.

Joe will be kicking off LIFE, a weekend of nightlife and cultural events, in cooperation with Southern Maine Pride which will raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS. The event will take place tonight at Mainestreet in Ogunquit. Doors open at 10pm so come and show your support for a great cause and enjoy one of the best DJs the US has to offer!

If you are unable to make it, you can still show your support by contacting info@MaineLiveEvents.org

Hope you enjoy!
JB
